I carry a Super Leatherman and a minimag on my hip and a Leatherman Micra in my pocket just about all the time.

I find the full size Leatherman gets me out of most jambs when I don't have a tool bag handy and the Micra is great for the paper cutting and personal grooming I need to do in the office.

They allowed me in the Air and Space museum with both yesterday even though they were checking all pockets and running everyone through metal detectors.

I have a couple. Used one for awhile when I first started. Now I carry a $3.10 screwdriver that I found at Wal-mart. (Not really a Wal-mart fan). and carry pockets full of bits, level, tape, mini utility knife, and ect. I have a Vise Grip toolbox that I like to carry when not working.

This little screwdriver is great. It's lightweight, rated at 200volts, and accepts regular quarter inch bits. I keep it in a minimag light pouch that has space for spare batteries. I have a 1/4 and 5/16 bit where the extra bateries go.

My family and co-workers don't walk but run when I pull it out. They don't want to hear about how much I like my little screwdriver anymore!

I use it on a regular basis. I also have the Buck tool, which I use sometimes. The Gerber has a wider pliers and the various knife blades plus a file. The bottle opener doesn't work too well but the can opener is pretty good. I use the phillips bit sometimes and the flat blades are useful. Push a couple of buttons and the pliers come out the top and the tool is ready to use. The blades lock open from the handles. One handed opening is possible with this tool.
The Buck has a needle nose pliers with all the knife blades and other blades. This tool is twisted to open. I don't like it as well as the Gerber but it has its uses.
I put one of these tools on my belt everyday and I know I don't make it through a day without using it.

I once saw a "leatherman tool" (I realy got no idea who made it)that had a cresent wrench on the end instead of 'pliers'.

If anyone knows where I can find one, let me know.

I keep it away from me in the house for my wife to use. I tried to use one on the job and it never fails I get into a jam and I forget they are not insulated and I try to cut or strip a live circut and get reminded of fact they are not insulated.
