Anyone ever have a Ranco RV to come apart inside the valve.
I cut one open yesterday that did not work and the brass plug on the end of the slide had fallen off and when the vale shifted it bent the end slide that it was stamped too.
I stopped buying after market Ranco parts because they are sh*t. I know that parts wear out but Ranco parts seem to keep you running back and doing warranty work!
There DP controls are also worthless.

had one of those cheap pieces of s**t break on a rheem but it was the equalizer tube that broke off.
Are those RV the most annoying things to try and weld into place or what.
Never heard of one coming apart from the inside though.
ya got to love it when you show up on a job and there are dents all over the RV, good troubleshooting technique there??

is a valve that reverse's itself, like we all did with All Temp. Changing them does really suck, fourtunately I havn't done that in years. Maybe use O2 acetelyne set-up to avoid overheating the whole thing and making it look char broiled. Those damn sweat TXV's are no picnic either unless you use 50/50 and let someone fix the leak later on. So, is that enough of a reply. Lets sum up:
RV valves suck.
TXV'S suck.
All Temp used to suck.
Dice never sucked.
No one cares about James RV problem, that sucks.
I have to pee, brb.
