I have never used them. Do they make a complete pitts seam or is there more to it?

The first link you give is an electric and an air powered pittsburgh hammer. It is only for driving the edge of the pittsburgh down when assembling duct. Used when building a lot of duct to save banging with a hammer. You have to have the machine to make the seams.

Thats what I thought that was, but I got someone telling me that there is a way to make the seams with a portable tool like that. I havent been able to find anything like that. I'm thinking its like a air tool that puts a flang in on the seam, but you still have to bend some with a brake too,..... what a pain in the ass..

All those tools do is bend over the pittsburgh after you put the two pieces together. You can do the same thing with a hammer or a brick.

Bricks add a nice, neat texture to 26ga. tin, BTW.:p
