Glad you are home, but I am concerned that you may have a head injury. Your spelling and grammar have regressed to the level of a junkatrol dealer.:)

It's good to hear you're home. Now you are on the road to receovery. After you can get a little better you'll be burning up the keyboard, once you fix the "dislocated elhob"

I went with my old truck to a bike and car show yesterday, must have been at least 500 Harleys, and a couple other types. Some real nice looking bikes. They had a motor sound competition, many of the bikes with straight pipes sounded good. My friend with 31 Model A coupe has a supercharged Chevy, he entered in the car competition, and exploded his front harmonic balancer while revving it up with open headers. Pieces flew up about 20 feet high! Took out the water pump completely, sheared the crank bolt off, broke the timing cover, hit the radiator, dented both sides of the frame and one front wheel with flying debris. It was a real mess, but he did win the award!

Talk about go big or go home. Nothing like the sound of an engine letting go. I hope he didn't throw a rod!

Didn't throw a rod or anything like that. Just "cleaned off" the front of the engine. The crank snout was sticking out of the timing cover with the bolt broke off inside. The seal was gone to somewhere. The engine still was running, although puking oil and coolant all over the place. We pushed him off and then it was time to survey the damage. He actually started it to put on trailer, a supercharged engine will run without a belt, but not very well. The balancer mounting flange and v-belt pulleys along with blower pulley were all still connected, the balancer blew apart right where it slides over the crank.

when you put something complicated togather and have 2 bolts left over, I hate that sinking feeling in your gut when you look at the left overs and say to yourself "uuummmm, wonder where these go???"
hope no one got hurt when that thing granaded:)

Wow, I was doing a lot of drugs from my spelling above. but I guess I did not fell like spell check.
Looks like my summer is over before it got starter. If I can get my body and my life fixed I guess all will be well.

It is still cool in the morning so I guess I am not missing a lot of service work.
My wife is taking care of me for what reason I do not know other than she has a good heart.
I would of been a good speaker for god a few weeks back after the crash when we were on the subject.
There are a few things that go across your mind when you think you are going to die. Like you may be ready to see dear old dad again.
Even though we were not living togeather I was trying to call my wife on my cell phone and the EMT`s were tring to stop me.
It was a hopeless feeling.
I somehow will try to say all the things in the near future that I wanted to say while laying there on the road to the people I need too!;)
