An internet buddy of mine, a fellow HVAC contractor from here in TN, is looking for some info. Can some of you Texas guys help out? The thread is located at:

Please help if you can. This guy is a nice guy with a lot of problems of his own right now, and yet he's trying to help someone else.:(

Okay, now how about Dallas? My sister-in-law is getting screwed by American Home Shield, and I can't get down there in time to help her out.

I don't do work in Dallas County, but I think Wolfdog is located in Dallas. I'll be glad to talk to her if you think it would help.

You know, I thought he was there-but due to another electronic device disaster, I don't have his e-mail address anymore. Anybody else got it?

Hey Mav, I appreciate it, but I don't think she's listening to me on this one. She's tangled up with American Home Shield on it right now, and they're pulling their usual rip-off job on her.
I told her to get three estimates-she says she's hot, and hasn't got time to deal with it. I told her she'll probably be dealing with it in another 3 years if she doesn't do it the right way now, but that went over like a lead balloon.

Thanks DSW, I think she got it fixed-only cost her a couple of hundred, not the thousands the first guy led her to believe. I'll keep you in mind the next time I talk to her.
