Everything is aimed for XP and 2000 so YES! But everyone else below you as well.

Check the link or at very least have your babe do some downloads for you, ie, windows updates :D

Other wise I suggest you place that laptop in a bag and vacuum pack it for a few years, better yet just send it to me, I have a special chamber that will hold many laptops in hyperspace :D I will even pay postage to my house :p

PS: If you read the update it said:
Important Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) is not affected by this issue. Windows XP SP2 users only need to update Office (if installed).

So you may be ok. Just ask your sweety if you are Up To DATE!
