This place is dead like Dice posted. ? No one to goof off with! Were is Maddog!
Even HVAC-talk is boring and there are more retards showing up over there. What about the guy who only needs a HVAC guy to come out and solder up a few joints after he did every thing. Can`t understand why no one will come over.

What about these dumb fuc*ks leaving their kids in the car to die with the windows rolled up. I would love to live in a world were the Police man would pull his 45 cal and blow their heads off. ooOPS!

What about Dice thinking G W Bush is dumb compaired to Al the human tree Gore!
Dice is a die hard Northern Socialist Democrat. It has to do with being Irish, the Kennedy`s (America`s royal family....LOL) and drinking. There is a link. :D

Here I am James-I'm still alive!

Breeze, I know where you're coming from on the slow thing (other thread). It's been sporadic for me too-I let my helper go, working by myself now, mainly doing installs. I'm letting my nephew run most of my service, on a percentage basis. I actually kinda like not having to worry about keeping an employee busy-if the job isn't pressing and it's raining, I just do something else!

Slow? sort of..... but right now that is what I want. Baby is due the 13th, Monday ... of course everyone will call before, during and after.
I had a really strange day with service calls ... I guess the heat gets to everyone.

Never imagined I would get my van stuck in sand this far from coast.... go figure.

Installed a wood stove and chimney yesterday.
Installing a pellett stove tomorrow.
Just sold a plumbing rough-in for a new home. ($ 7000.)
Just sold finishing plumbing for an audio store. ($ 18,000)
Profit for two days of pellett and wood stove probably more than we'll make on the new construction plumbing jobs. :(

Kinda off the subject but here's a good one. The lady that lives next door to the shop called this morning. We had given her an estimate last fall for a/c. She of course didn't get the a/c then because it was cool. The past 4 days the heat index has been around 100 degrees. So anyway, she calls says she can't breath in this heat. So the boss asks me to run paperwork over to attempt to get her financed. Ran over here she is sitting in her large kitchen with about a 5,000 BTU window unit running, CHAIN SMOKING. Do you think this possibly has something to do with her lack of air? :p

Chain smoking: We techs love those calls. I had a routine heating check and pilot cleaning where my CO detector was showing 55ppm. This lady had one cig in mouth and other in ash tray. The room had a fog / smog like look to it.
All of this before I lit furnace. I dont smoke but I bet my lungs look like a smoker.

We all knew what kind of clunker Mr. Installed His Own had before asked!!! Was rather funny to see him asked and finally answered!

to me how many people come up with a medical condition when there junk breaks and they want to be put on the top of the service list.
That guy with the solder connections not only got crap for equiptment but also found some hack to solder his lines. His problems are only begining.
