OK, first I apologize for the large pics, I'm really trying to get the hang of the new digi cam and posting pics and stuff.
This is a warr on a new PTAC, there QC lacks at the manufacturer. In order to save on $$$ the owner wants to do as much in the field as possible. My logic is to do it right so we are not married to it for 5 years.:mad:http://breezeaire.com/public/recover.JPG
http://breezeaire.com/public/axv bad.JPGThe AXV was bad on this one probably over heated on the assembly line because someone doesnt know how to use a torch or something.
http://breezeaire.com/public/bad good.JPG
Purging with nitro while brazeing to keep the cap tube from plugging up because the cheap ass manufacturer will not pay for a filter drier. http://breezeaire.com/public/purge.JPG
This snot is great, I dont know what everyone else is useing, block it, heat paste, but this stuff is easier to use I think. I like to spray a mist of it over everything so when its early in the morning and I'm not reeally awake yet I dont set a fan blade on fire or somthing like that.http://breezeaire.com/public/cool gel.jpg They got us these 6CFM pumps, damn things weigh so much I just use a hand truck to move the things to the job. Its really funny how fast you can pull a vac on a PTAC with this pump. I still have a hard time accepting the reading I got on my gauge, I think its probably more like 3-500 microns.

This one also gets a new fan motor because the factory put out a bunch of fan motors that make noise due to a cracked berring or bushing, whatever. http://breezeaire.com/public/new blower motor.JPGhttp://breezeaire.com/public/wire monster.jpgThe best is when that capilary that runs through all the wires shorts out and you get that nice green flame in the compartment. Now I got to take the thing up to the condo and run it in the space to get all the r22 back into system because the charge is so critical. http://breezeaire.com/public/suck gauges.JPG
