I gotta ask, what is the application?
Why is it important?

GL1800 Brake system, there is a *pad-rod* that holds the brake pads in and the end of that rod has a rubber gasket that needs lubrication

A silicone grease may be a dielectric grease.
Usually used to keep out moisture and be electrically non conductive.
