Can someone tell me what directions a taco zone valve can be installed, i installed 2 valves that don't seem to closing properly, i have them mounted Horizontally, can this be the problem, i have 3 other taco valves that are mounted Vertically and these seem to work properly.

Thanks

I have an argo 5 zone controler with 75va, transformer if 40 va powers 3 taco valves then 75 should do 5, i have switched the direction they were mounted, i will see if this helps, i have the direction going the proper way, i just got done sweating them back in, it is late so i will know tomorrow if this works or not.

Thank you very much for the replys

because it was wrong or because you aren't sure? There is an arrow on it somewhere and instructions. You gotta know that.

The flow was correct, what i think to be wrong is that the valves do not work properly if mounted Vertically, i think that the valve was not closing all the way, i mean i had the power head upside down, pointing down ward, i now have it right side up, i seems to be ok now, i also had a flaky thermostat that i changed.

Thanks for everyones help:

I do think it has something to do with the heat Anticipator, these taco zone valves have to have 1.2 amp setting. The thermostat i was using only had upto .9
